History of Russia: The origins of Kievan Rus from earliest times to 1054
Soloviev, Sergei,The book describes the history of russia incorrectly, by appropriating the history of Kievan Rus, which historical successor is modern Ukraine. Russia does not have anything in common with Kievan Rus for at least two reasons: 1)The territory of modern Ukraine almost fully lies on historical territories of Kievan Rus.
2)Name "Russian Federation" and Kievan Rus are only familiar, because of one person- Peter the Great, who was russian monarch, renamed the name of his country in 1721(after more than 700 years existance of Kievan Rus) from "Moscovian Tsardom" to "Tsardom of Russia", which became "Russian Empire", and, eventually "Russian Federation".
